Below please find brief descriptions of the most effective methods used by FSB to disseminate information about you and your book thus increasing your overall Web presence.


Web Sites and Blogs:

Publishers have long recognized that book reviews are the most cost-effective tools for marketers. Online book reviews take that efficiency to a whole new level. By focusing on the book's core audience, consumers are reached directly through related Web sites, online booksellers, and blogs. With a recent decline in print reviews, many readers are turning their attention to online reviews, where coverage of books continues to grow.

Content Syndication:
The majority of web sites online are eager for content deemed of interest to their readers. FSB has established and continues to establish relationships with numerous Web sites - for both general interest and niche audiences. We are able to provide these Web sites with ready-to-use electronic book excerpts and original articles as well as electronic photos making it as simple as possible for online editors to update and add to their sites. Podcasting:

We promote this site and the books aggressive on the Internet and have a mailing list of several thousand people many of whom are members of the media. The book will be featured on an email newsletter as well.

Web Forums:
A forum or newsgroup is an electronic bulletin board dedicated to the discussion of a particular topic. Newsgroups exist for nearly every imaginable topic and are one of the best known ways for finding information online. A posting to a book's target audience can be very effective; however, one must have a thorough understanding of "netiquette" before entering into this arena. At FSB Associates, we have the experience necessary to avoid the infamous "flame wars" in newsgroups. When you post information on the Internet, your reputation is literally "on-line", so experience is crucial.

Mailing Lists:
Internet mailing lists are maintained for many areas of interests. An announcement about a new book sent to the members of an appropriate list can be highly useful in that mailing lists allow for quick dissemination of information to a targeted group of Internet users. Once again, however, you must tread cautiously and be sure to present useful information as opposed to blatant advertising.
